1. Ensure you have read the technical support FAQ
2. Locate your faceAPI license number.
  • This is printed on the inside cover of your faceAPI CD case.
3. Determine the exact version of the API are you using.

* Right click on the DLL (Program Files\SeeingMachines\FaceTrackingAPI\Bin\smftXX.dll) and look at the file version information.

4. Determine the version and service pack of Visual Studio.
5. Generate a system report for your development workstation:
  • To report your system configuration, use: Start Menu->Run->msinfo32
  • Use: File->Export command to save info to a text file.
  • Attach the text file to the tech support request.
6. Email to techsupport@seeingmachines.com, making sure you have the keyword: “faceAPI” in the subject.
