Mike is Chief Scientific Officer, Human Factors at Seeing Machines. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) in Melbourne. He was awarded a PhD in Human Factors Psychology from Monash University in 1998 and has 20 years experience leading applied research programs to deliver improvements in safety. Mike was a Professor at MUARC until 2014 where he led the Human Factors research team for eight years.
His goal is to transform Seeing Machines into a company that is renowned for the human factors science that underpins its state of the art technology. He builds research partnerships with the automotive, aerospace and fleet customers along with the academic sector. He also represents Seeing Machine’s scientific interests externally and maintains strong scientific credibility and profile within the international human factors community.
